Based on Tom Rath’s popular book, StrengthsFinder 2.0, the CliftonStrengths Assessment is an online tool that identifies and ranks your 34 talents. Backed by fifty years of research and designed by Gallup, the assessment is easy to navigate and scientifically accurate.
The idea of focusing on our strengths, instead of always working on weaknesses, is both simple and profound. For my relational coaching practice, I chose CliftonStrengths because it worked best for me, and it is, I believe, the most powerful way for others to explore their strengths.
No matter how introverted or extroverted we are, each of us has a variety of relationships to navigate daily: children, spouses, coworkers, friends, clients, the cashier at the grocery store, the clerk at the driver’s license office…the list goes on. These relationships require nurturing, which is best accomplished when we bring our unique values and strengths to the table. Whether you are looking to boost personal, professional, individual, group, parental, or familial relationships, StrengthsFinder is an excellent process of engaging with yourself and those around you.
